New Delhi is the capital of the Republic of India and one of the most important cities in the world. It is also one of the 11 districts in the state of Delhi. The city of New Delhi is a centre of power and politics. Many important buildings are located in New Delhi, such as Secretariat Building, Connaught Place, Jantar Mantar, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, and more.
New Delhi was established in 1911 by the then British Raj or British Government of India. The final inauguration was held in 1931 by Lord Irwin, the Viceroy. Later on, New Delhi becomes the centre of power and politics of the country.
New Delhi is also considered as one of the most polluted capitals in the world. It’s a difficult to live place for many people, such as kids, newly born babies, elders, and unhealthy people. The city is still struggling with it’s air pollution, water pollution, ground pollution, and other types of pollution.
The Tourism of New Delhi is increased year over year. A good number of domestic and foreign tourists arrives in New Delhi to see and explore the beautiful architects and history of the country. Due to it’s historic important, no tourist can ignore the capital of India i.e. New Delhi.
The Red Fort, India Gate, Qutb Minar, Akshardham, Lotus Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Humayun’s Tomb, Lodi Gardens, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Gandhi Smriti, Jangtar Mantar, Parliament House, National Rail Museum, National Museum, and Agrasen Ki Baoli are important tourist attractions in New Delhi.
Many important dignities of India lives in New Delhi, such as the President of India, the Prime Minister of India, the Chief Minister of Delhi, the Lt. Governor of Delhi, and many others. It’s a VVIP city where you could find each and every level politician and bureaucrats too.
